Performance Improvement Cycle with Fixstars AI Booster
As operations continue, processing efficiency changes due to modifications in LLM models, various parameters, and so on. To maintain the optimal utilization efficiency of computing resources such as GPUs and consistently sustain high performance, it is important to repeat the cycle of performance observation and improvement. FAIB supports this performance improvement cycle by providing two functions: Performance Observability (PO) and Performance Intelligence (PI).
PO is a function that continuously records the usage status of hardware, including GPUs, and software
execution profiles over time, and visualizes changes. This makes it possible to identify performance
bottlenecks and provide guidance for improvement.
PI is a function that proposes bottleneck improvements and automates acceleration based on the observation
results from PO. It also includes various tools useful when engineers themselves assess and aim for
acceleration. PI can be used for free for one month, but thereafter fees will be incurred depending on the
amount of computing resources such as GPUs. Acceleration support by experts is also available.
